San Antonio Spurs star Richard Jefferson called a last minute timeout on his wedding with dancer, Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols, just hours before their Manhattan wedding on Saturday, July 11, 2009…without even letting the guests know.
Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols at least had time to call her guests but the former New Jersey Nets cager only told a few of his friends hours before the ceremony. A close friend of Jefferson’s said, “He called about two hours before the wedding. It was nuts. He never showed up at the hotel, but all his boys were there. He gave his best friend the Black Amex [credit card] for the night.”
It is not yet known why the wedding was called off, Nichols wasn’t totally surprised due to Jefferson’s odd behavior, according to one source. “She just wants to keep this as quiet as possible and move on. She’s doing just fine.”
