The tour riders of musicians and celebrities are always entertaining, as they outline the provisions that each entertainer requires while on the road.
Katy Perry‘s is no exception, and The Smoking Gun has posted a 6-page excerpt from the “Hot & Cold” singer’s 45-page rider.
Among the provisions she outlines, some of the funniest are regarding her chauffeurs.
Drivers chauffeuring Perry are not allowed to open doors, touch bags, or “stair [sic] at the backseat thru the rearvieuw [sic] mirrow [sic].”
The driver is also not allowed to start a conversation with Perry, speak to her guests or fans, ask for autographs, speak on the phone, or drive anywhere other than the left lane on highways.
There are a grand total of 23 bullet-pointed rules on the page marked “Principle Driver Policy”.
According to Perry’s rider, her dressing room (which has to be draped in cream or soft pink) also must be outfitted with two cream-colored egg chairs, one of which should have a footstool. A coffee table needs to be “perspex modern style.” A pair of floor lamps should be in “French ornate style,” and her refrigerator must come with a glass door.
As far as her flower arrangement is concerned, Katy would like “white and purple hydrangeas, pink & white roses and peonies.” If those flowers are not available, Perry will settle for a “selection of seasonal white flowers to include white orchids.” However, promoters are advised, “ABSOLUTELY NO CARNATIONS.”
