Katt Williams is in trouble again.

The Atlanta comedian was almost arrested on Friday at a WalMart in Georgia.

Newnan Deputy Police Chief Rodney Riggs says that Williams was handcuffed, put in a squad car and questioned regarding some type of alleged altercation in the store parking lot, but Katt was released at the scene and never officially booked.

Police had initially gotten a 911 call from someone claiming that Williams or a member of his crew pulled out a shotgun during the altercation, but police say that no evidence of that claim was found at the scene.

When asked if they found any weapons at the scene, however, they had no comment on the matter.

Riggs did confirm that a woman and her son who were involved in the incident were booked for disorderly conduct.
