The American Idol Season 9 top 10 girls took the stage on Wednesday night.
Katie Stevens performed Corinne Bailey Rae‘s “Put Your Records On” but still wasn’t quite fresh enough for the judges (and for us).
Ellen DeGeneres didn’t want to hear something she could hear in her dentist’s office, while Kara DioGuardi told Katie that she needs to tackle bigger songs. Simon Cowell felt frustrated because Katie is so much better than that and it just wasn’t a top-notch performance.
