Dancing With The Stars star Karina Smirnoff is the next celebrity to strip down and get naked for PETA‘s anti-fur marketing blitz.
According to Smirnoff, she stopped wearing fur products after seeing footage of baby seals being clubbed to death. She said “when we take advantage of an innocent animal that cannot defend herself” it’s wrong.
“I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine,” Smirnoff said, “But there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel.”
Other celebrities to have appeared in the campaign include Christina Applegate, Sophie Monk, Nia Long, Khloe Kardashian, and Kimora Lee Simmons.
