The marital troubles in the Gore family don’t just end with Al and Tipper’s recent separation.
Turns out their oldest daughter, Karenna Gore Schiff, has been separated from her husband, Andrew Schiff, for a few months now.
A couple of family friends say that the couple is trying to get some marital counseling.
Al Gore and wife Tipper Gore just made it known last week that they were going to separate after being together for 40 years.
At this time, Gore officials have no comment on the matter. Karenna is 36 years old while Andrew is 44. The two tied the knot back in 1997 and have 3 young kids together, Wyatt Gore Schiff, (born July 4, 1999), Anna Hunger Schiff, (born August 23, 2001) and Oscar Aitcheson Schiff (born in 2006). They currently live in New York City.
Karenna Gore Schiff was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, although she also grew up in Washington D.C.. She graduated from National Cathedral School in 1991. She then got her B.A. in history and literature in 1995 from Harvard University and J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2000.
She went on to intern as a journalist for WREG-TV and The Times-Picayune. She later wrote for Slate and was a lawyer with a law firm in New York.
