There seems to be a problem with the popular K9 Web Protection internet filtering software this evening.
The popular, free web protection software from BlueCoat that parents can use to keep their children safe while surfing the web seems to have gone haywire tonight, blocking ALL access to the internet altogether.
On a personal note, we use K9 Web Protection here in our household and we can’t access the internet on any of the computers on which we have it installed right now.
We have been unable to reach the K9 support team and I only see one mention of it on Twitter, although it is currently the number 49 search term on Google Trends so something must be wrong with the service.
