K.D. Lang performed last night at the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. She brought down the house with her rendition of “Hallelujah”.
The song was written by Leonard Cohen back in 1984.
The song has been in the news two other times in the past few weeks. It was performed by Justin Timberlake at the Hope for Haiti Telethon and by the Canadian Tenors and Celine Dion on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
