Former Three’s Company star Joyce Dewitt was arrested for DUI on July 4th. Police report that Joyce DeWitt was pulled over when she blew through a barricade in El Segundo.
A police officer stated that Joyce DeWitt showed signs of intoxication and was given a sobriety test on the spot. DeWitt was taken to the police department, booked and then released.
What caught many fans off guard was the Joyce DeWitt mug shot. She just doesn’t quite look like the Janet you may remember from the Three’s Company days.
According to DeWitt’s official website, she has been in many theatrical productions since that time. She appeared in the 2000 Pulitzer prize winning play Dinner with Friends when it premiered in Canada. She has also starred in Alfred Uhry’s Tony award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo
Joyce Dewitt is now 60 years old.
