It was another Susan Boyle moment. As we’ve learned several times before, looks can be deceiving.
Opera singer Jonathan Antoine took the stage on Britain’s Got Talent Saturday night and totally blew everyone away.
Antoine and partner Charlotte Jaconelli performed “The Prayer”.
Antoine said on the show that he had a confidence problem and that Jaconelli had helped him through that.
Their singing teacher first suggested that they form a duo.
Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon were stunned at the 17-year-old’s singing voice and audience members wiped away tears as the duo performed.
All four judges on the British show gave them the thumbs up, with a couple of the judges saying Jaconelli’s voice was a lovely complement to Antoine’s.
Could this act be the next big thing?

NOTE: Sorry for the poor quality. BGT is yanking copies of this audition off of YouTube pretty quickly. Hopefully, this version lasts a while…
