F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You
Jon Gosselin was supposed to appear in a Maryland court today to duke it out with the TLC network.
TLC wanted to whine about how Gosselin made several paid and unpaid TV appearances that violated his contract, while Gosselin wanted to whine about how TLC exploited his family.
Gosselin apparently thought that the best way for him to tackle this thing head on was to, well, not show up at all.
Gosselin's attorney, Mark Heller, had this to say:
"Jon will vigorously defend against this baseless action ... and we are confident that through the course of litigation it will clearly be evident that Discovery and TLC exploited, manipulated and abused the Gosselins' vulnerability and financial hardship."
...and by the way, can any of this be done without my client? Because he bailed on me.
