F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You

Edward Scissorhands is up to his old tricks.  On Wednesday, People magazine named Johnny Depp the "Sexiest Man Alive."

This is his second time winning the coveted title, having also won back in 2003.  This puts him among the ranks of other multi-sexiest-award winners Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Richard Gere.

Depp, 46, beat some pretty strong competition as Robert Pattinson, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, and Gerard Butler have all been in the news lately as well.

Kate Coyne, senior editor at People, said on CBS' Early Show that Johnny Depp has achieved an almost "iconic status in terms of sexiness."

Says Coyne: "Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He'll be sexy 10 years from now. He's someone who appeals to multiple generations of women."

The "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" actor is also raking in a hefty $30 million for the new "Pirates of the Caribbean" flick.  I guess he's having a pretty good year.
