Johnny Damon pulled off an amazing feat during last night’s World Series game between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. He managed to steal two bases at the same time, which the media has dubbed a “double steal.”
Really, a double steal occurs when two base runners steal a base at the same time. In this case, however, we’ll go along with the media and call this a “Johnny Damon double steal.”
CC Sabathia pitched 6 solid innings as the Yankees jumped out to a decent lead. The had Phillies tied things up by the 9th inning, though.
What happens next will not be forgotten quickly as Johnny Damon pulls off a rare individual double steal and Alex Rodriguez comes up clutch. Damon makes it look so easy…a CAVEMAN could do it.
