Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, who wrestled in what was then called the World Wrestling Federation, has been arrested for “possession and trafficking in a controlled substance and burglary.”
Neidhart has been charged with “two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs and one count of burglary and one count of grant theft” pertaining to an incident that took place on Sunday.
Police say Neidhart caused a disturbance while pumping gas into his vehicle on Sunday and ingested “multiple pills that he dropped on the ground while inside the trunk of his vehicle.”
Authorities found him in possession of 55.6 grams of Oxycontin and 17.4 grams of methadone.
Neidhart was a member of the iconic “Hart Foundation” and wrestled in the WWF in the 1980s and 1990s.
