Eddie Vedder has gotten engaged.

The Pearl Jam lead singer proposed to his girlfriend of several years, Jill McCormick, in Washington, D.C. on Friday night.

The pair had been in town for Sunday's Kennedy Centers Honors bash where Vedder performed a tribute to Bruce Springsteen, who was honored at the gala.

Vedder, 44, and McCormick, 32, have two daughters; Olivia, 5, and Harper Moon, 14 months.

This will be Eddie Vedder's second time around.  He divorced musician Beth Liebling back in 2000 after six years of marriage.  For McCormick, it's her first wedding.  She is a fashion model who began her career with Elite Models when she was 16 years old.
