Erin Martin was looking for Mr. Right. Instead she found Mr. Wong, Jeffrey Wong that is.
Now, Jeff and Erin are getting married, and they’ve created the most epic wedding announcement of all time – a four-minute cinematic movie trailer announcement.
Erin and Jeff met during the summer of 2000. Jeff was studying Engineering at Harvey Mudd College and film at Pitzer College. Across the street was Scripps College, where Erin was majoring in Psychology and minoring in Art. They hung out in dorm rooms and school cafeterias, as college students often do.
Then, on October 7, 2000, Jeff invited Erin to a party and, as they put it, “the planets aligned, fireworks flew! Choirs sang in triumphant exultation! The universe hummed in magical harmoniousness.”
Like something out of a fairy tale, their first kiss took place on top of a hilltop in the middle of the Mojave Desert of California as they watched the sun rise one winter morning and prepared ourselves to jump out of an airplane shortly thereafter.
The rest in history. On 10-10-10 (October 10, 2010), they will get married, and they spared no expense in informing their friends & family.
