One elderly man in here Baltimore, Maryland obviously thought his local Royal Farm Store should have a drive-thru lane.
The man slammed his Jeep Cherokee into the Carney store, about two miles away from our Blippitt offices, apparently hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake when trying to park this morning.
When the dust settled, the vehicle was almost completely inside the store.
The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. EDT this morning.
Both the driver and the adult female passenger were taken to Sinai to be evaluated. There are no reports of injuries from people in the store.
Engineers were called to the scene to inspect the building’s structural integrity.
