As a nation begins to grieve for the losses suffered in Thursday night’s Colorado movie theater shooting, amazing stories of heroism are already beginning to emerge.
Take the story of 19-year-old Jarrell Brooks, for example.
Despite the fact that Brooks had been shot in the leg, he continued to help Patricia Legarreta and her two small children escape from the theater, and likely saved their lives.
Check out ABC’s interview with Jarrell and Patricia below. This was the first time they had seen each other since the shooting.
If you ask me, this guy should be given a medal.
