Janet Jackson paid homage to brother Michael Jackson at the MTV VMA’s on Sunday, dancing along with a projection of the King of Pop while their duet “Scream” was shown on the display screen.

Not long afterward, Janet Jackson posted her new single, “Make Me,” on her website. The song, which will be the first single from her new album due sometime in 2010, is a dance track with a chorus that pays tribute to brother Michael’s 1979 solo single “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.”

On her official Twitter page, Janet Jackson explains the gift-wrapped look of the “Make Me” stream on her website…

“Thank u for ur endless love n support! I hope u guys enjoyed us tonight. It was very special for me n I have a very special gift for all of u.”
