One of Tiger Woods‘ alleged mistresses, Jaimee Grubbs, recently sat down with the syndicated TV show Extra to discuss the steamy affair she had with the world’s top golfer.
During the interview, Grubbs said she was “deeply sorry” for the affair. She seems to direct her apology at Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren.

“I couldn’t describe how remorseful that I am to have hurt her family and her emotionally (but) if it wasn’t me, it was going to be other girls. I did care about him. I didn’t do it for superficial reasons. I didn’t do it to purposely hurt her,” Grubbs said.
She added that she someday hopes to one day be “friends” with Tiger, but she says he lied to her about his martial status until they were “already in a relationship.”
“I wouldn’t have pursued him if he didn’t pursue me. I mean, when he did, I just figured he was single and I didn’t think to ask.”
“Seeing that [he seems to have other mistresses] was devastating. It hurts,” Grubbs adds. “I’ve learned from everything that I did. Had I not acted on emotion, I probably would have taken a second to think of how it was going to affect my family and the impact it was going to have not on my life, but on everybody that’s been involved in this.”
24-year-old Jaimee Grubbs alleges that she slept with Tiger Woods in excess of 20 times since they met in a Vegas club during the summer of 2007 (when she was just 21). She was devastated to discover that Woods allegedly had almost a dozen mistresses.
