I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have no idea how a girl this small produces a voice this big.
11-year-old Jackie Evancho performed on the finale of Britain’s Got Talent, and last year’s America’s Got Talent finalist didn’t disappoint.
Jackie sang what’s become her signature piece, “Nessun Dorma“, on Saturday’s BGT finale. Does this girl have pipes or what?
The show ended with a surprise twist, as 24-year-old singer Jai McDowall eked out a victory over crowd favorite Ronan Parke (by a slim 2.5 percentage-point margin).
Ronan, 12, was the subject of many rumors this week as some speculated he’d been groomed by BGT creator Simon Cowell before coming on the show. Of course, both have aggressively denied the rumors, and Cowell is exploring legal action.
Not to worry, Ronan…finishing in second place seems to have worked out pretty well for Jackie Evancho. Check out her performance below.
