It’s Going to Be a Snooki New Year

It looks like Snooki is set to have a ball this New Year’s Eve.

Nicole Polizzi of MTV’s Jersey Shore will be placed inside a ball that will be dropped in Time Square as the click strikes midnight.

UPDATE: The Snooki ball drop at Times Square has been cancelled.  Instead, it will take place at the Jersey Shore.

The other Jersey Shore castmembers, including Mike Sorrentino (A.K.A. “The Situation”), will lead the massive crowd in fist-pumping contest to try and break a Guinness world record.

The MTV New Year’s Bash will be hosted by comedian Whitney Cummings and will feature a performance from Flo Rida.
