Today, Google announced that they have now launched Google Book Search for mobile.
If you have an iPhone or an Android phone, you can now simply navigate your mobile browser to http://books.google.com/m to start using Google Book Search on your mobile device.
There are several differences between the mobile version and the regular version. The most obvious being the look and feel of the site in genera.
The biggest technological difference, however, is the use of Optical Character Recognition technology. Google Book Search typically shows scans of the page, but if you view the book on a mobile device, they will now try to interpret that text using OCR and show you the plain text, not scanned version.
Happy mobile reading!
