Say it ain’t so.
Zap2It reports that Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate on ABC‘s LOST, is now auditioning for parts on new TV shows. The kicker is, these are not TV shows that are going to hit the airwaves after LOST ends its run next season. The pilots are for new shows that begin this coming fall. Uh oh.
LOST is known for killing off major characters. After all, they killed Charlie (you bastards!) and Anna and Eko too.
Kate, though, is about as major as a character can get, and she holds the attention span of those crucial 18 to 35-year-old males. She is also the emotional key to many of the current story-lines on the show.
Several Lost sites are speculating that a “majorish” character will be die before this season ends.
If it’s any consolation, Evangeline Lilly’s rep says the rumors are not true, for what it’s worth.
