Twitter was virtually destroyed last night when the popular social networking site was hacked by a group calling itself the “Iranian Cyber Army”.
The site’s homepage was completely gone and replaced with the following message:
Iranian Cyber Army
THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY
iRANiAN.CYBER.ARMY@GMAIL.COM
U.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don’t, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To….
NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA?

Well, nice of them to add a little “take care” at the end, don’t you think?
Good to see that all those previous outages have really helped to bolster Twitter’s security measures. The site is back up and running now. You may continue stalking celebrities at your convenience.
