For their latest project, over 4,000 people took part in a mammoth water gun battle as part of Improv Everywhere’s ninth annual MP3 Experiment event.
Participants downloaded an MP3 file and pressed “play” at the same time on Governors Island in New York City.
The MP3 file contained a bunch of wacky Olympic-themed instructions from narrator “Steve The Omnipotent Voice from Above.”
Onlookers who were not involved in the project were understandably confused.
The event culminated in an epic water gun battle.
