With all the hype surrounding the new Wolverine movie, it’s no wonder Hugh Jackman is trying to keep things in prespective.
In fact, on April 14, Jackman promised to donate AUS $100,000 to charity via Twitter. That translates to about $72,000 US.
The charity will be selected by pitches on Twitter itself. To be considered, just send a tweet to @realhughjackman explaining why your charity should be chosen.
Hugh Jackman will announce the lucky recipient on Friday, April 24 on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.
Just last week, Jackman’s Twitter feed misspelled “Sydney Harbor” and incorrectly called one of Australia’s most popular attractions the “Sydney Opera Center”. This was because someone was ghost-tweeting for him, of course.
This should hopefully win him back the favor of fans. Writing his own tweets wouldn’t hurt either.
