Has Adsense frowned upon you lately? Are you not getting the Adsense love that you once were?
We'd like to give you some hot post-Valentine's Day tips for getting back, "that loving feeling".
First, a message from the Adsense Crawler himself...
Red roses are fine for showing your love,
Kisses, jewelry, and chocolate, they’re okay.
Yet my heart skips a beat from none of the above,
Ask me what thrills and delights me and I’ll say:
Great content’s what contents me when I visit your site,
Stuff your truffles and send me a rich word bouquet,
Keep your flowers, give me phrases, they’re what excite!
Every day crawling your pages is Valentine’s Day.

Now, here are some other hot Adsense tips that have been working well for us lately:
1) Mix It Up
Don't just settle for the same old color palette every time. When you are setting up your ads, choose "Multiple Colors", then select two or three combinations and your Adsense ads will then rotate through those color palettes.
This will keep your readers from getting bored with the ads and will also help to prevent ad blindness.
2) Target Properly
Use the ad targeting code snippets on your site to help Google figure out where the important content is. Place the 'begin' tag before your content and the 'end' tag after your content.
It should look like this...
<!-- google_ad_section_start --> Key page content here <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
That way you won't get based on your ads or your "About Me" section or anything else irrelevant.
3) Focus on the Good Stuff
Try to develop your content around high-paying keywords. If your blog's theme doesn't involve those keywords, find a way to make it fit in.
You can get the highest-paying Adsense keywords over at www.AdsenseHeaven.com. The list will cost you a couple of bucks, but it will be worth it.
4) Keep the Content Coming
Update your blog at least once per day. The more content you produce and the more often you write, the more visitors you will get. That's just the way the search engines work.
Note: the does NOT mean you need to log on and write a post four times per day. For example, I often write 10 posts at a time and just use Wordpress's "scheduling" feature to schedule them throughout the day.
Stick to a schedule as well. Google doesn't like to waste its resources trying to figure out when to send the crawlers to your site. If you've noticed, I try to have my posts hit this blog at the TOP of the hour.
4) Why Do Work?
This is a great plugin. If you don't have it, go get the Why Do Work plugin for Wordpress. It will let you just enter your Adsense code, then choose where you want it to appear (ie: "Top Left", "Bottom", "Random", etc.)
The best part, though, is that you can have it show different (ie: BIGGER) ad formats on your older posts. This way, your regular readers don't get the large rectangle, but someone who stumbles across your post after doing a Google search a week later WILL.
OK, that's enough to get you going.
Now, to REALLY start cashing in with Adsense, here are a couple of MUST-READs...

There are tons of Adsense books out there, but these three are the best, in my opinion.
