Check out these Unusually Stupid Celebrities.
Google has come up with a pretty interesting idea to help people save money in this time of economic uncertainty.
Google Tip Jar allows us to put our heads together and save money-saving ideas and tips. The application itself is powered by Google Moderator.
There are lots of money-saving tips scattered across the web, but even if you found them, it would be hard to know which ones were worth trying. Tip Jar gathers tips in one place and invites people — i.e., you, me and everyone else — to rank them in order of usefulness and even add their own tips to the list. Over time, the best and most useful tips will rise to the top.
This seems like a great idea. The current categories include:
- At home
- At work
- Finance
- Kids & Family
- Shopping
- Food
- Cars & Transit
- Travel
The site also features "Popular Tips" that scroll along the bottom of the page.
It will be interesting to see how big this idea can get.
