The power of viral marketing continues to grow as more and more companies are beginning to realize the importance of tying an internet-based campaign to their product.
Warner Bros and Paramount Pictures are the latest to jump on board.
Both companies have launched similar movie-based mini-sites for their upcoming May, 2009 theatrical releases.
TrekYourself lets you upload a photo of yourself and morph it into an interactive 3D Vulcan, Romulan, Captain or Red Shirt Officer.
TerminateYourself offers up similar features. You can upload your photo and then morph it into a T-800. You can also add battle damage to your pic, revealing your inner endoskeleton.
For added convenience, the sites will even let you grab a photo from Facebook, eliminating the need to upload a pic.
