Laser pointers can be dangerous when used improperly. When pointed at an aircraft, it can cause the pilot to suffer disorientation or even blindness. Justin Stouder found this out the hard way.
It seems the 24-year-old St. Louis resident thought it would be fun to shine a green laser pointer at a police helicopter that was approaching.
The pilot of the chopper would have none of it and quickly had officers on the ground arrest Stouder within minutes.
