I know the internet loves cats, but dogs are pretty incredible sometimes. Some people say that, when dogs do something bad, they don’t really remember it. The only way to correct the behavior is to catch them in the act, they say.
I have always disagreed with that, and after seeing this video I disagree even more.
Dogs are smart. Dogs know when they’ve done something wrong. I would even go so far as to say that dogs often feel ashamed when they know they’ve done something wrong.
Take the two dogs below, for example. After someone, or some dog, gets into the kitty treats, one of them is clearly guilty as charged, while the other is not.
