Rap star Gucci Mane is kicking 2011 off with a bang. It seems he’s followed the lead of fellow rappers Lil Wayne and Game by getting a face tattoo.
Mane recently visited Atlanta and got tattoo artist Shane Willoughby to add a three-scoop ice cream cone to his right cheek. The word “Brr” is etched onto the cone and two red lightning bolts run through it.
Jason Murray, who works at piercing shop nearby, captured Gucci Mane’s newest addition and uploaded it to Twitter.
Earlier this year, Gucci Mane was committed to a mental health institution and his mental condition was evaluated after filing a “Special Plea of Mental Incompetency” in a Georgia courtroom, claiming that he was unable to “intelligently participate in [his] probation revocation hearing.”
