Greg Inglis of South Sydney absolutely laid out Dean Young of the St. George Illawarra Dragons during an Australian match this weekend.
Young was carted off with a concussion, yet somehow, Inglis was not ejected from the match.
The devastating shoulder charge, which the league is now reportedly considering banning, did leave to an all-out brawl between the two teams, however.
In a disturbing sidenote, Inglis’ coach Michael Maguire seemed to be pretty OK with the powerful shot.
“Everyone enjoys seeing a big hit,” he was quoted as saying afterward.
South Sydney won the match 36-14.
