Five female employees at a Grab n Go Espresso stand in Everett, Washington have been charged with prostitution. The women allegedly charged patrons up to $80 just to touch them.
During a two-month investigation, police detectives witnessed the females employees licking whipped cream off of each other’s bodies and posing naked for photos at the Grab n Go Espresso stand, which sits on a very busy street where drivers were able to get an eyeful of the nude women perched on the drive-thru window ledge.
Authorities stated that the women charged patrons to touch their breasts and buttocks, which falls under the city’s definition of “prostitution”.
The five bikini baristas, who are all between the ages of 18 and 24, also engaged in sexual games for clients, including one dubbed “basketball” – where customers throw wads of money at the women, who then catch them in their underwear.
Bill Wheeler, owner of the Grab n Go Espresso stand, told reporters that every one of his employees signed a contract prohibiting the type of conduct alleged by police investigators.
The women were not arrested but are expected in court in a few weeks.
Over the past 12 months, the police took over 40 complaints of women exposing themselves at various coffee shops and stands in the area. They opted to look into this particular one because it had generated the most complaints.
“This was about alleged conduct, not about what the women were wearing,” said an investigator. “They could have been wearing parkas and if they continued to conduct themselves that way, we still would have filed the criminal charges.”
