Another day, another commencement address for Google’s top brass.
Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt, spoke at the University of Pennsylvania commencement on Monday and urged college grads to step away from the computer and make connections in real life. Schmidt told around 6,000 graduates that they need to discover what’s most important to them by living offline now and then.
“Turn off your computer. You’re actually going to have to turn off your phone and discover all that is human around us,” Schmidt said. “Nothing beats holding the hand of your grandchild as he walks his first steps.”
