Google China has just released a new, experimental version of Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer. The new toolbar includes a lot of fascinating features, but it's currently only available in Chinese.
The most interesting new function is the way that Google Translate now allows the toolbar to translate websites that use AJAX, and even sites that require SSL.
Take a look at the screenshot below showing how Google Toolbar was able to translate all of the text from Gmail, which uses JavaScript...
When you use the interface and select an option, Google Toolbar detects the changes and translates the new messages almost in real-time.
When you use this new translation tool along with Google Reader, the toolbar will translate all of the posts as they are, a very handy feature indeed.
