Guess what today is? Twenty-five 25 years ago, on June 6th, 1984, Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris, a simple video game where you shift blocks around to create horizontal lines, eliminate rows and rack up points.
Tetris has been consumed many, many hours for millions of people around the globe. Today, it turns 25 years old.
Google obviously loves the game too, as the Google logo today is made of Tetris blocks. Too bad it isn't animated...that would have been something to see.
Feeling nostalgic yet? Why not go play right now and get your fix?
