There is a lot going on over at the Googleplex today. Let's take a look at today's updates from Google.
Gmail Attachments
First, Gmail has changed the way attachments work in a way that will save you a few clicks. Now,if you would like to send a few files from the same folder, you can just hold down the "Ctrl" key and select each file you want to attach. You can also use the "Shift" key to highlight a longer list of files. This will be a huge time saver.
Google Translate
Next up, Google has learned to speak seven new languages - quite a feat. Well, actually Google Translate has just announced that it has just added Turkish, Thai, Hungarian, Estonian, Albanian, Maltese, and Galician to their list of languages, bringing the grand total now to 41 languages. No word on when Klingon will be added to the list.
Google Friend Connect Meets Blogger
Google has just integrated Friend Connect with its Blogger publishing service. Essentially, this will allow you to follow or subscribe to a blog using your Google, Yahoo, AIM or OpenID accounts. More importantly, it gives Blogger more of a social network feel.
Any blogs that you follow will then be listed in your profile on Blogger. You will also now be able to see if your friends are following those blogs as well.
Their announcement also hinted that more big changes were coming. We're all ears.
