Now hear this! Google has announced that you can now sign into Friend Connect, which just opened to all web sites two weeks ago, using your Twitter credentials.

Friend Connect also supports IDs from Google, Yahoo, AIM, and OpenID.

Looks like competition is really hearing up now Friend Connect, MySpaceID, and Facebook Connect. Google just scored a big one by landing Twitter.

Twitter is the first third party service after Plaxo to actually integrate with Google’s new service.

To send a tweet about a site you have joined, click the invite link in the members gadget, then click the Twitter icon on the share tab. The next time your followers sign in to Twitter, they'll see your tweet containing a link to the interesting site you've found.
