Jon Gosselin sat down for an interview with Good Morning America on Tuesday morning to speak out about his soon-to-be-ex-wife Kate.
Jon says that “constant abuse” from Kate Gosselin is what forced him to leave.
“She separated me from my family. She used to hold the kids over my head and say ‘don’t spend time with your mom, spend time with your kids.’ Why can’t I spend time with my mom and my kids together? I’m not going back to that lifestyle.”
Jon is also angry about having lost his twenties…he got married at age 22, had twins at 23, and had sextuplets at 27. Bye Bye twenties!
“I can’t sit on the sofa with that woman. I can’t sit with someone I despise.”
“Our relationship will never be fixed…I don’t wear my ring because she took my ring.”
Jon is also upset with the fact that his side of the story hasn’t been covered by the media. He knows that he’s made mistakes, but he feels that because his mistakes have been made out in the open, he’s not being given a fair chance to learn from them.
The video itself is short, but the interview lasted over three hours. It will air again this evening on Primetime: Family Secrets.
