Jason Hargett has been working at the Ruby River Steak House in Provo, Utah for 15 years. On Tuesday, he became a millionaire.
Jason sunk a hole-in-one worth one million dollars.
“I [kept] thinking it didn’t happen, after it happened. I’m like, there’s no way that just happened,” Hargett said. “The only hole in one I’ve gotten was on a par four. I’ve never gotten one on a par three. And to just be in that moment, I can’t even explain it.”
“We were just talking about that outside,” said wife Amyee Hargett. “Jason said, I’m 35 and I’m a millionaire, and I was like awe, that sounds so cool…surreal.”
Jason Hargett moved to Springville, Utah from California back in high school. His is a storybook tale…he got married to his first love, Amyee, and they have four children.
The Hargetts became wealthy in such a blink of an eye that they really don’t know what they will do with the money. They did suggest that perhaps they would pay off their house, invest in college funds for their children and make a donation to charity.
“All of a sudden the camera people threw up their arms and Bosco and I looked at each other and like, wow! That really just went in!” said Jason.
