“Hey, I think you forgot the attachment.”
How many times have you gotten that e-mail in your lifetime?
Let’s face it. Gmail has been adding so many new features lately, it’s getting hard to keep up.
Well, Gmail has now added one that is cooler than the other side of the pillow: the Forgotten Attachment Detector.
The Forgotten Attachment Detector scans your e-mail message to see if you have mentioned that you are including an attachment. If you click on “Send” without including said attachment, Gmail reminds you with a pop-up asking if you meant to include an attachment with your e-mail.
Way cool, Google. Way cool.
To activate the Forgotten Attachment Detector, click on “Settings”, then “Labs”, then scroll down the page to find the option.
