Have you ever sent an e-mail that you later regretted? Have you ever wished you could "recall" that e-mail you sent last night after downing six tequilas?
Well, tough, because this idea probably won't help you either, although Google IS trying.
GMail has released Mail Goggles, a new, free service that you can set to activate at certain times of day (or night, as the case may be) which will prompt you to do some relatively simple math problems before your mail can be sent.
Is this some sort of sick April Fools joke? Um, no. Although, perhaps it should be.
If you set this service to turn on after, say, midnight on weekends, then you may see a screen like this when you go to send your e-mail...
Now, I don't know about you, but when I've had a few too many, something like this would really piss me off. On the other hand, I suppose there is a chance it might keep me from being able to send my e-mail, depending on what kind of night it's been.
OK, Google. Cute idea. I don't know if it will catch on but, hey, you're trying.
Really, though, if you're like THIS guy, then it won't make one damned bit of difference...
