Have you ever wished that you hadn't hit that "Send" button after you blast out an e-mail?
Well, now you can actually DO something about it - but only in those few precious seconds it takes for Gmail to catch up and actually SEND the e-mail.
Turn on Undo Send in Gmail Labs under Settings, and you’ll see a new “Undo” link on every sent mail confirmation. Click “Undo,” and Google will grab the message before it’s sent.
This feature can't pull back an email that's already gone; it just holds your message for five seconds so you have a chance to hit the panic button. And don't worry – if you close Gmail or your browser crashes in those few seconds, we'll still send your message.
This is a nifty little trick. Now you can take back that nasty e-mail before it's even gone.
It's nice to see you again! Thanks for reading Blippitt. What do you think of this story? Be sure to leave a comment below.
