As Gmail is down again for the umpteenth time this year, a novel idea occurs to me.
It would be nice if Google's Apps Status Dashboard actually reflected the real-time status of Google's Apps.
Taking a quick peek at Twitter, we can see that the masses are ready to revolt...
While, at the same time, Google seems to be somewhat oblivious to the problem at hand...
It would be wise for Google to try and make this service a bit more real-time, so that frustrated users, both personal and commercial, feel a little more "in the loop."
UPDATE: OK, Google is now at least aware of the problem...
UPDATE 2: As of 10:54 a.m. EDT, Gmail appears to be back up. Crisis averted.
