Twitter is everywhere, there’s no denying it. Now, it wants to be on your TV too.
The micro-blogging service announced on Monday that it has paired up with Reveille productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to create an unscripted television show based on the website.
The show would utilize Twitter to put players in search of celebrities in an interactive environment.
The producers are touting the fact that this will be the first TV show to bring the immediacy of Twitter to the television.
“Twitter is transforming the way people communicate, especially celebrities and their fans,” said Howard T. Owens, managing director at Reveille.”
No other details are available yet regarding the show’s format or when it will debut.
Reveille’s other TV shows include the likes of “The Office”,”Ugly Betty”,”The Tudors”,”The Biggest Loser” and “American Gladiators”.
