Did you know that John McCain is so boring, he causes people to collapse?
The head of U.S. Central Command, General David Petraeus, briefly did just that as he was testifying at a Senate hearing on Tuesday. Luckily, he recovered quickly.
Petraeus, 57, who is in charge of the U.S. troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, suddenly stopped speaking as his aides swarmed around him.
General Petraeus was able to leave the room on his own and later returned carrying a glass of water. He said he had been feeling a bit light-headed earlier in the day.
To be safe, the chairman of the hearing stopped the session for the day, saying that it would resume on Wednesday.
