The gaming world is abuzz this Tuesday morning. After selling millions of copies in just nine months, one of the greatest third-person shooter games for the Xbox 360 is about to improve upon itself with the unveiling of the release date for Gears of War 2: Dark Corners and the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection.
The extra Dark Corners expansion map pack will feature seven new multiplayer maps as well as a brand new single-player mission that did not make the cut for the original video game.
Meanwhile, the All Fronts Collection should sell as a separate package. It will feature a new campaign mission with a unique "stealth mode" entitled Road to Ruin. It takes place about halfway through when Marcus and Dom are underground trying to venture on to Nexus.
The two editions now have a July 28, 2009 (that's today folks!) release date and will appear on Xbox Live for 1600 Microsoft points for the All Fronts Collection and 1200 Microsoft points for Dark Corners.
Have fun!
