Fail Nation: A Visual Romp Through the World of Epic Fails.

OK, so how did we take a phpBay website that had become a bit stagnant, and get it to receive over 1.044 unique hits yesterday (and 656 hits so far today)?

Two words...press releases.  Yep, press releases.  Now I have tried using press releases before but the results have never been this good before.

I attribute the awesome results this time around to several factors:

1) Keyword sniping

I used AdWord Analyzer to nail my keywords this time.  I examined my niche and found a few search terms with a very high number of daily searches AND a very, very small number of search results.  This really helped me to pack these press releases with just the right keywords.

2) Press Equalizer

I saved myself a lot of time by using Press Equalizer and blasting these puppies out to multiple press release websites all at once.  Otherwise, I would have had to manually log in to each site, manually paste my release, manually add in my tags, etc.  I absolutely hate wasting time...because time is money.  It was a minimal investment that has paid for itself several times over.

The secret ingredient in this little PR recipe is a technique that I learned from Income Greed.  I can't elaborate as this is a paid coaching club.  I can tell you that it has been well worth the investment, however.

Can you get decent results without spending any money?  Sure, there are plenty of free tools around for those on a budget.  Also, you can always just do things manually.  You can do keyword research using Wordtracker and typing your term into Google.  You can manually submit your press releases too.

To me, the big advantage is time.  The more I can automate things, the better.  So if you want spectacular results, you'll have to invest a little money in the system.  You should also know that this did not happen overnight.  I have been blasting out press releases for the past week or so and it's just now starting to pay off.

So go write some press releases!  Oh, and here is a little bonus for staying with me until the end.
